BIO

Of three, I was the only child in my family to use crayons on the wall. Since then, I have found more appropriate surfaces to work on and these days am more likely to be found scribbling in my sketchbook. Although, sometimes I enjoy smearing graphite onto wall-sized sheets of paper. So maybe, not much has changed... Contact me if you're looking for a mural.

In 2007 I made the move to New York City where I received my Masters degree from The School of Visual Arts in the Illustration as Visual Essay program, under the instuction of Marshall Arisman. Before then I was living in Baltimore, Maryland where I received my BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, majoring in Illustration, minoring in Art History and focusing in Design. I also had the privledge to live and study a semester abroad at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, an amazing, unforgettable experience. No matter where I'm living, working or traveling I can be found running the streets and around the parks, my passion and inspiration. If you're interested in purchasing or commissioning work, please feel free to contact me.

PHILOSOPHY

"and my aim in my life is to make pictures and drawings, as many and as well as I can. Then, at the end of my life, I hope to pass away, looking back with love and tender regret, and thinking, 'Oh the pictures I might have made!'"
-Vincent Van Gogh
