I try to sketch live as much and as often as I can. I love taking a piece of paper from nothing to something. I love meeting and getting to know the people I’m drawing and painting. I love the challenge of working under a time constraint in an unforgiving medium (most of the time). I love the human form. I truly love it all. 

Over the past few years, a lot has happened for my art and for me. I’ve created and sold large works. I’ve been in quite a few shows. I’ve traveled to France to be an artist-in-residence. I published a second book, Draw You / Draw Me. My name and art have appeared in T: The New York Times Style Magazine. Through all of this I was sketching. 

This collection represents a selection of my favorite sketches made between November 2016 and June 2019. I’m excited to share them with you. I am grateful, every day, for the opportunity to explore my passion and for the support of everyone following my journey.
